Hi, my name is Maria and I am a Product Designer based in Seattle, WA.
As a former civil engineer, I learned how to plan the construction process from the signing of the contract to the laying of the last brick of the building. I understand how important it is to prepare for a project before building a foundation. I apply this approach to UX design. Knowledge about people’s goals, motivations, and needs is the foundation of design. I believe that design should be human-centered, useful, and accessible.  

Four years ago, I relocated to the U.S. and co-founded a travel startup. This experience gave me a unique perspective on developing a business. I was responsible for all aspects of design, brand identity, customer communications, and marketing.

Right now, I am working at the software company Edge. With a talented team, I am building zero-to-one products and delivering immediate impact to our customers.
